Encompassing most of Nevada and western Utah, the Great Basin is North America's largest region of contiguous endorheic basins. Sparsely populated with vast distances to cover, much of my connection with this area lies in driving empty roads and looking out across the valleys and ranges. Highlights in this region include Great Basin NP, the White Mountains, the eastern side of the Sierras, and the Great Salt Lake.
